AUSTRALIA'S CLASSIC TEXAS LONGHORN SALE!

All trails lead to Roma in Western Queensland on March 21, 2026 for the big TRAILS WEST Texas Longhorn Sale. It will be an opportunity to purchase some of the best Texas Longhorns available for sale in Australia. The inaugural sale was in 2017 and this years event will provide an opportunity to socialize and network with other Texas Longhorn breeders and enthusiasts.

For anyone interested in starting their own herd, or to upgrade with some quality females or bulls it will be an awesome opportunity to own a piece of 'living history'. Also up for auction on the day will be a great selection of Texas Longhorn products. There really is 'something for everyone' at Trails West!

While states may have differing protocols, all the cattle are certified tick free and cleared to travel to most areas. Contact vendors or agent for more information.

Texas Longhorns have an almost perfect and typically extremely gentle temperament. They do have long horns for sure but they are very respectful cattle.

No they aren't but they do grow fairly quickly. Texas Longhorns are very easy calvers. The majority of Longhorn breeders have NEVER had a heifer or a cow have any calving issues.

Texas Longhorns are really easy to work and unless you have a large number of Longhorns, you probably don't need anything special. They are very hardy and very rarely need to be treated by a vet. Get in touch with any of the team if you need extra information.
